Well, I feel as if I have literally painted myself into a corner.  I don’t want to say how long ago I started this project… O.k. - I started it in November. 

I decided we needed a nice new coat of paint indoors.  We painted the inside when we first moved in 5 years ago.  I have NEVER, not one day, liked the color we orginally painted it.  I was thinking it would be an off white/cream and it turned out to be a real light yellow. 

Fast forward to present time.. I chose a real dark color for the majority of the main parts (I haven’t even touched the 4 bedrooms yet).  My husband felt it was a bit dark after we got started, so he went and chose a lighter shade for the living room. 

We have been painting a little here.. a little there.  Now it is crunch time!  My husband has an annual superbowl party – and it is in 2 days!!!!  I was hoping to finish the painting this afternoon.. it didn’t happen.  We will try for more painting tomorrow night (the night before the superbowl.. ugh). 

Between my rushing around trying to get the painting done.. Today, I baked brownies, lemon bars, frosted the carrot cake that I made yesterday.. made a potato salad and a macaroni salad.. tried catching up on laundry… phew, I am tired!  I am sooo thankful the Sabbath is here for resting.

I would call what we did today… ‘Spring Cleaning’…  Just a few months late …lol..  It has been a long time coming.  We are hoping to have a garage sale in the next week or so.  This morning, we started outside in the goat pens… and finished the rest of the day cleaning in the house.  It does feel good to off load a boat load of junk!
