I was at the hospital right after Nehemiah joined the rest of us in this world--in fact, I was one of the first to hold him. ;) It amazed me that he opened his eyes--and made direct eye contact. He was (and still is--though not a baby now)a beautiful baby! Happy Birthday Nehemiah!
Lots of love--the great aunt Jenny

That looks great! We were supposed to have soaked wheat pizza tonight,, but I forgot to soak the wheat last night. I was going to do burgers instead, but now you may have just talked me into doing white dough ;) I think I'll do venison sausage on top too.

Pretty cool! I like the picture. I didn't know some breeds of sheep could change colors like that as they age. Interesting.

Oh my goodness! That's terrible! For Pepsi, I mean. This better not be a limited time only or Pepsi is officially dead. The word will get out, just like you just did for us here. Nobody wants to drink fake sugar poisons that stop our livers and give us seizures, diabetes, migraines and brain tumors.

On the other hand, what if that's because they are using Stevia instead? I know Pepsi does that in Japan, and lately Stevia has won some monumental labeling battles making it compete with Aspartame and the other sweet poisons.

Maybe the Stevia version is such a big hit, they are just going to do that. I want to find out more.

Is a carb a carb? I think some carbs (like fiber) aren't digested, so that's why they can say net carbs are 0 or some other low number. Remembering way back from nutrition class... ;)

Good question. I don't eat a lot of processed foods with funny labels like that, but it would creep me out a little. "net carbs?" Sounds like they've got carb blockers and non-food fillings made of undigestable starches. Maybe it's fine to eat them. But what if they disturb the flora balance of the gut or block absorbtion of magnesium and other nutrients in the food?
